But I get the impression that, unlike many other makes, people either love or hate Volkl skis. So my question is - now what? Do I run them with my old boots like everything is fine and risk injury if they don't release correctly, or is it time to ditch them if the binding can't be replaced? Is there a method to function test at home?įrom what I've been able to gather, the Motion is a system binding, so there is no possibility to replace the binding. Volkl racing skis ive forgotten what they were called. In addition, my new boots are not compatible (I need a MNC binding now). Despite being older with many years of use, they are in good condition cosmetically and have been maintained, but the bindings are beyond what a ski shop will function test. They are Volkl SuperSport 6-Star with Marker Motion bindings from circa-2003 (I think). I'm in the process of upgrading my aging gear and need to make a decision on my old skis.
